The Opportunity The Cloud Applications Consultant is an individual contributor who serves as the primary point of contact for implementing customers’ requests regarding the addition of new trading partners, document types, and connection types. The consultant utilizes systems integration and service delivery knowledge to create and update technical specifications, map configurations, and deploy them to pre‑production and production environments. Responsibilities also include setting up Trading Partner connectivity using common communications standards such as FTP, HTTP, AS2, SFTP, etc. You Are Great At Engaging the client to obtain EDI requirements, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of map packages and documentation while maintaining strong customer relations. Analyzing customer requirements, data integrations, and interfaces. Delivering day‑to‑day implementation requests of Trading Partner and map configurations into the OpenText Managed Services systems. Implementing changes for existing data integrations. Applying policies and best practice mapping to define map rules based on client’s requirements. Consistently creating test cases, scenarios, form test files, running tests, and evaluating reports. Investigating and conducting root‑cause‑analysis for issues or defects raised by clients during testing. Delivering project status updates to clients, delivery/project managers, and counterparts as needed. What It Takes Graduate of Computer Science or other technical disciplines. Knowledgeable in programming languages such as Perl, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc. Strong customer focus and satisfaction orientation. Problem‑solving skills and logical thinking techniques with excellent attention to detail; ability to identify, analyze, and differentiate relevant information to make logical decisions and provide solutions. Teamwork and collaboration skills; inspire and motivate others toward goal accomplishment. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, work independently, and possess effective time‑management skills. Willingness to be on‑call beyond normal working hours and on weekends. Willingness to work any shift (ASPAC, EMEA or US).
