Basic Function The Compliance Manager & DPO is fully responsible for establishing, enforcing, and continuously strengthening the organization’s regulatory compliance, data protection, and governance frameworks. This role ensures strict adherence to BSP regulations, ISO 27001 & ISO 9001 standards, AMLA regulations, the Data Privacy Act, and all compliance requirements applicable to FinTech and EMI operations. This is a leadership and execution role requiring strong discipline, relentless follow-through, and uncompromising integrity. Essential Functions Regulatory Compliance & Governance Lead and enforce company-wide compliance programs aligned with BSP and regulatory standards Maintain zero-non-compliance posture across filings, audits, inspections, and requirements Ensure full and timely submission of all BSP reports, certifications, and documentation Interpret regulatory updates and implement immediate compliance actions Maintain comprehensive compliance manuals, matrices, and escalation protocols Coordinate directly with regulatory bodies and represent the company in audits and compliance reviews Identify risks, enforce controls, and ensure corrective actions are executed without delay ISO Program Accountability Own and manage company-wide ISO 27001 & ISO 9001 compliance, surveillance, and recertification processes Ensure all documentation, policies, and evidence are consistently updated and audit-ready Lead Corrective Action Plans; track, enforce, and close findings with urgency and accuracy Data Protection Officer Responsibilities Serve as designated DPO with NPC and enforce full Data Privacy Act compliance Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments, breach investigations, and incident reports Ensure secure handling, access governance, and monitoring of all personal and sensitive information Lead mandatory data privacy training, employee compliance monitoring, and vendor due diligence Audit & Risk Management Lead and execute internal audits, compliance checks, and formal reporting Drive resolution of compliance findings; no outstanding risks without documented mitigation Prepare and deliver compliance dashboards and reports for Executive Team and Board Culture, Discipline, & Training Enforce strict compliance posture across all departments Conduct mandatory compliance and privacy training programs Establish a culture of integrity, confidentiality, discipline, and ethical conduct Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's advantage (Business, Law, Finance, Compliance, IT) Minimum 5–8 years compliance or regulatory experience in FinTech/EMI, banking, or financial services Proven experience leading ISO 27001 & ISO 9001 programs Solid working knowledge of BSP circulars, AML, cybersecurity, and data privacy regulations Experience coordinating with or responding to BSP, NPC, and audit teams Technical Competencies Strong regulatory interpretation and compliance design experience Audit and risk management proficiency ISO certification and evidence-based compliance management Data privacy and cybersecurity governance Advanced documentation, reporting, and policy management skills Behavioral Competencies Relentless attention to detail & documentation discipline Execution-driven — does the legwork, ensures follow-through, enforces accountability Resilient and able to operate under pressure and tight deadlines Zero-tolerance for non-compliance and procedural shortcuts Ethical, confidential, and trustworthy — uncompromising integrity Strong influence and authority to enforce compliance across leadership levels Proactive risk mitigation, not reactive problem solving Assertive communication and ability to challenge when standards are at risk Takes ownership — no unresolved issues or compliance gaps Performance Expectations Audit-ready at all times Zero regulatory lapses or overdue submissions No unresolved audit or compliance findings Documented privacy and compliance training completion across workforce Strong enforcement of compliance culture and accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
