Location: Makati, National Capital Region

Job Description

• Responsible for day to day bookkeeping of the Flat Planet Group, PEZA, BIR Compliance, Fixed Asset Management, Bank Reconciliation, Monthly Accrual of expenses, payables and disbursements
• Process payments and vouchers preparation
• Verifies supplier invoices
• Responsible for maintaining ledger A/R, preparing and sending invoices
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly BIR compliance such as but not limited to; 1601C, 1601E, 2550M, 2550Q, 1702Q, 1603
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual BIR and PEZA compliance
• Maintain fixed asset schedule and depreciation
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Record deposits and collections
• Monthly accrual of expenses for month end closing
• Responsible for doing Month-end reports
• Prepares weekly, monthly and annual cash flows
• Responsible for keeping the books accurate and updated
• Bank liaising; staff account enrollment, fund transfers and conversions
• Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger; setting up new account and cost centers when required; ensuring reconciliations of control accounts; ensuring correct allocation of expenditures to cost centers
• Attends to any ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Amenable to 100% work onsite - Makati Office
• A graduate of Accounting related course
• A CPA would be preferred

What To Expect From The Role

• Responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll processing as well as validating financial statements, ledgers, and accounts and making corrections
• Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
• Manage intercompany accounting and intercompany reconciliations as well as prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepare and input all corporate journal entries
• Maintains accounting controls by composing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Perform Daily Sales transactions and reconciliation.
• Analyzes sales and cost expenses performance and obtains explanation of significant movements, trends, and variances with budget guidance, and historical data.
• Timely and accurate generation and submission of internal and government statutory reports
• Preparation of relevant documents for BIR filings and assessments
• Review invoices & monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Accountancy
• Must be a CPA
• With at least 2 years of related experience, Preferably in the Retail, or Shared Services industry
• At least 1-year of experience in BIR Regulations and compliance
• Knowledgeable in Inventory, Cost Analysis, Budgeting, Cost Control Procedure
• Preferably has own laptop
• Can start ASAP
