What we’re looking for: We are looking for Bookkeepers with a comprehensive background in QuickBooks and a depth of experience in the e-commerce and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in managing financial records, synthesizing financial reports, and implementing robust bookkeeping practices specific to retail and online sales environments. Responsibilities—what you’ll do: Implement and manage all functions in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely financial data processing Customize and utilize QuickBooks features to specifically cater to retail and e-commerce financial transactions and reporting. Implement, manage, and optimize QuickBooks to streamline financial processes tailored to the nuances of e-commerce and retail transactions Facilitate and oversee all data entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Provide insights on financial performance and forecasts, considering seasonal trends and promotional events Generate and analyze financial reports specific to e-commerce and retail operations, such as sales revenue, expenditures, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Manage supplier/vendor invoicing, payment schedules, and financial interactions specific to retail and e-commerce supply chains Perform periodic financial reviews to ensure budget adherence and financial health. Prepare necessary documentation and reports for internal and external audit processes. Requirements Fully fluent in English Demonstrated expertise in using QuickBooks for comprehensive financial management in a retail and e-commerce setting Extensive experience and/or knowledge of the retail and e-commerce sectors Skilled in the use of apps and technology Ability to commit long-term and full-time Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time) No work experience is required, but we will take any work experience you have into account This position is for serious, career-oriented candidates.
