Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst with a strong foundation in accounting and a proven track record in hands‑on transactional bookkeeping. This role seamlessly operates across high‑level financial analysis and day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic insight with minimal supervision. Responsibilities—what you'll do Manage full‑cycle accounting processes, including month‑end and year‑end close. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Perform transaction bookkeeping: accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support strategic decision‑making. Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and forecast trends to inform operational planning. Assist in developing financial models, dashboards, and tools to drive business insights. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations and financial planning initiatives. Requirements Proven experience as an FP&A Analyst with strong understanding of strategic financial planning and day‑to‑day accounting. Minimum 3–5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience. Advanced and hands‑on proficiency in QuickBooks (non‑negotiable). Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis. Fluent English. Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time). Other qualities we look for CPA or equivalent certification. Experience in fast‑paced or startup environments. High level of professionalism, reliability, and integrity. Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
