About the RoleWe are seeking a strong team player with excellent leadership, organization and communication skills for the role of Invoicing Team Leader at Robert Walters. The Invoicing Team Leader will oversee the invoicing team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy of all company invoices. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with front office, clients, and finance teams.
Responsibilities- Oversee the accurate processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining organized documentation for audits.
- Data Entry & System Maintenance : Ensure timely and accurate data entry of invoice details into the invoicing platform, regularly updating the system to reflect current information.
- Client & Vendor Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for invoice-related inquiries, resolving issues professionally and collaborating with internal departments to address discrepancies.
- Accounting Support : Assist the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing activities, contribute to financial reporting, and support continuous process improvements
- Key Responsibilities of the Invoicing Team Leader :
- Team Leadership and Coordination
- Lead and manage the invoicing team, ensuring alignment with company goals and finance procedures.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and key stakeholders to ensure smooth invoicing operations.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in resolving stakeholder queries, issues, and concerns.
- Manage team performance to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met
- Prepare regular reports and maintain performance trackers to monitor invoicing activities and team productivity.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of invoicing processes and records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization within the invoicing function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, workflows, and tools for a newly established team environment.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in invoicing or accounting roles.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in invoicing software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
