Responsibilities
  • As the owner of the sales pipeline, identify, manage and close market opportunities on new, and potentially existing accounts (up-sells) to achieve or exceed financial targets.
  • Base targets on Order Intake value for opportunities closed.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level and senior executives in target customer segments.
  • Adopt a consultative selling approach to build customized pitches addressing the most pressing needs of prospects and drive lead qualification and identification.
  • Learn how Thales offers solve customer pain points and understand issues faced by financial institutions regarding digital transformation and payment infrastructure modernization.
  • Master major payment card market trends in the territory from both financial institutions and end-users perspectives.
  • Develop a distinctive customer value proposition and map accounts to present and defend both technical and commercial Thales differentiators to all stakeholders (Digital Transformation, Operations, IT, Business teams, including C-level).
  • Manage complete and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders; define and build commercial proposals with contributions from Pre-sales, Architects, Finance, Legal, and other teams.
  • Lead deal closure and contract negotiation through project kick-off meetings and hand-over to the Expand or Account teams as appropriate.
  • Provide visibility of opportunity pipelines and share short- to mid-term revenue forecasts through the CRM tool; build account plans for new and existing customers in collaboration with managers and peers.
  • Establish and maintain close contact with Pre-Sales and Account/Expand teams to ensure appropriate resource levels for opportunities and nurture strong team collaboration.
Main Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital/solution sales or account management within Financial Institutions and/or Digital bank/FinTech, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a complex sales process.
  • Background in payment processing and/or digital payment transaction domain.
  • Proven consultative mindset with a track record of customer needs analysis and driving sales closures.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, cloud technology, and agile delivery models applicable to financial services in the Philippines.
  • Knowledge of the digital payments ecosystem and stakeholders in the Philippines is strongly preferred.
  • Awareness of Payment Cards and Personalization industries.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence key decision makers, particularly at the C-suite level in Financial Institutions.
  • Experience carrying individual quotas for B2B sales at an enterprise level; SaaS experience is key.
  • Ability to drive growth in new business development and net-new logo acquisition across financial institutions and FinTech clients.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and sales lifecycle processes for selling enterprise platforms into financial institutions.
  • Proven track record of winning opportunities contributing to long-term commercial success and value for the company.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
