What you will be doing

The Senior Business Application Consultant (Oracle Fusion ERP) will support and enhance its Oracle Fusion ERP platform with a focus on financial modules (GL, AR, AP, FA) and reporting (OTBI). You will act as a key liaison between Finance stakeholders and the Corporate IT team, ensuring that business needs are met through robust, scalable ERP solutions. The Senior Consultant will work closely with Avenir’s Finance Director and operational teams, while also being part of the broader Business Applications team supporting Corporate and Group functions. This is a hands-on role requiring both functional expertise and project delivery skills.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Support & Operations

  • Provide functional and technical support (1st/2nd line) for Oracle ERP Cloud – Finance modules.

  • Coordinate with external partners (e.g., Enshore) for 3rd-line support and complex issue resolution.

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and data integrity within Avenir’s ERP processes.

• Enhancements & Projects
  • Lead and contribute to enhancement initiatives within Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Actively participate in ERP projects, including module expansions, process improvements, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., EPM, APRO, Kofax) to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
• Reporting & Analytics
  • Design, develop, and maintain OTBI reports to support finance and operational performance monitoring.
  • Work with business users to define reporting needs and ensure data accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Avenir Finance and related Shared Services.
  • Translate business requirements into functional ERP configurations or improvements.
  • Drive communication between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
  • Facilitate system adoption and support streamlining business processes by guiding users in understanding Oracle's standard functionalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer engineering, business administration, or accounting.

• 3+ years’ experience with Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials), ideally in a support or consulting capacity.

• Strong knowledge of core finance modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA).
• Experience building reports in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Proven ability to manage enhancements and support activities within a structured IT environment.
• Oracle Financials Cloud Certification is a plus.
• Flexibility to support a global organization, at times (especially around the close), outside of normal office hours can be required.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Self-starter and fluent in English language.
