Overview

Seeking experienced Technical Designer/Senior Developer candidates to support global Oracle implementation projects. Candidates must be skilled in developing high-quality, efficient code from solution-driven designs. Experience translating functional requirements into technical specifications is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Convert Technical Design specifications into high quality working code.
  • Prepare unit test documentation of scenarios/test cases. Perform unit testing of programs according to defined process and document actual results.
  • Ensure the quality of one’s own deliverables through adherence to project standards and methodologies. Perform quality assurance reviews of code written by peers or junior developers.
  • Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing, Go-Live and maintenance support phases.
  • Assist in the clarification and resolution of issues as they arise during the design and development process.
  • Assist in the project team’s release activities and in the review and sign-off of release deliverables.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Practice focus in IT consulting, systems development, offshore services is preferred.
  • Applied experience in Java, Groovy, or object-oriented software development and testing.
  • Advantage: Experience in Oracle Utilities products, the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), or similar applications - e.g. Customer Cloud Service (CCS), Customer to Meter (C2M), Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Meter Meter Solution Cloud Service (MSCS), Data Management (MDM), Work Asset Cloud Service (WACS), Work Asset Management (WAM) among others.
  • Good oral/written communication skills.
