Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization. Ensure that the company adheres to all legal standards and in-house policies. Policy Development and Enforcement Develop, review, and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance on governance matters to all levels of the organization. Risk Management Identify and assess potential risks to the organization and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with governance policies. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with governance standards. Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Training And Development Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on governance and compliance matters. Foster a continuous learning environment to keep the organization updated on governance best practices. Monitoring and Reporting Monitor compliance with governance policies and report on the effectiveness of governance practices. Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors. Experience Proven experience in governance, compliance, or a related field. Experience in financial products, banking, or technology sectors is preferred. Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Behaviors High ethical standards and integrity. Ability to work diligently and independently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Qualifications Educational Background: College graduate with a degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in governance or compliance is a plus. Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a governance or compliance role, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position. Interdependencies, Internal Engagement, And Interactions Immediate Superior: Reports to the Head of Governance or equivalent senior management position. Peers: Collaborates with product owners, compliance officers, and other department heads. Others (within the organization): Works closely with Finance, Legal, Tech, Operations, Customer Service, and Commercial teams. Others (external to the organization): Engages with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and external auditors. Resources Managed: Governance-related documentation, compliance tools, and training materials. Key Performance Indicators Compliance: No compliance or regulatory findings. Timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities. Risk Management: Effective identification and mitigation of risks. Successful completion of internal and external audits. Training and Development: High participation and completion rates in governance training programs. Positive feedback from employees on governance training and support. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communication and collaboration across departments.
