The Senior Accountant 1 is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple business units. This role manages the preparation of financial statements, monitors compliance with GAAP and tax regulations, and supports management in financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciliations, and audit requirements. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and internal accounting policies. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to identify trends and improvements. Strengthen internal controls and maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records. Qualifications: At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based or multi-entity organizations. Proficient in ADP, NetSuite (including inventory management and reporting), and MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, forecasting). Knowledgeable in Amazon Seller Central and online marketplace accounting. Familiar with U.S. sales tax compliance and exposure to Canada and Mexico tax regulations. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail. CPA or equivalent certification preferred; able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
