OverviewAs the Project Sales Engineer, you will drive sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, understanding client needs, and providing technical solutions. This involves collaborating with engineering teams, preparing technical presentations, negotiating deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Essentially, bridge the gap between technical requirements and client needs to deliver successful projects and close sales. Categorize accounts by their sales type to set growth plans for them and provide guidance for their sales activities according to their target market. Hedge short- and mid term account risk (inventory, collateral, payment, etc.) and check whether the pricing follows the contract.
Responsibilities- Account analysis by sales type: participate in categorization of accounts by their sales type and growth plans based on their target business type.
- Sales activity management: participate in the management of the feasibility of the sales activities based on the sales/marketing plans aimed at achieving common goals with accounts (set guidelines for ROI analysis and sales activities regarding ATL (Above the line) and BTL (Below the line)).
- Volume management: analyze accounts' carried product volume, product logistics, actual sales, and inventory.
- Risk management: check for potential financial risks in the account's collateral (limits), orders, and payment.
- Retail channel management: analyze whether the contract, pricing policy, and the product distribution channel are aligned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the air conditioning/HVAC industry or other B2B sectors.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful business relationships with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically to attend meetings, conferences, and site visits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in McKinley Hill, Taguig.
