Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Law, Legal Management or any related field. A background in Finance, Engineering, or Power is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or regulatory role within the energy sector (e.g., renewable energy, power transmission, utilities, or infrastructure). Proven experience in EPC+F contracts and familiarity with FIDIC Contract Forms . Strong understanding of legal frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements governing energy projects, especially in renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro) and infrastructure (transmission lines, substations). Excellent skills in contract review, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and legal document drafting. Familiarity with industry-specific procurement processes, licensing procedures, and environmental regulations. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with project management principles, commercial contracts, and international business law is an advantage. Job Description: Provide comprehensive legal advice and support across all phases of EPC+F projects. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all phases of renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including solar, wind, hydro, transmission lines, and substations. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal documents, and agreements in line with project objectives and industry regulations. Advise internal teams on legal risks, obligations, and regulatory issues related to project development, procurement, and bidding processes. Monitor and interpret changes in energy law, environmental regulations, and compliance standards, ensuring organisational adherence. Liaise with regulatory bodies to secure licenses, permits, and approvals; support audits, investigations, and training initiatives. Prepare legal reports and risk assessments, and support dispute resolution, claims, and litigation management when necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
