Senior Backend Developer (Python + AWS DevOps) - Remote

OrangeUni is hiring: Senior Python Backend Developer (Remote)

Are you a Python expert (5+ years) ready to take on a senior role? We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer with DevOps experience (AWS) to help us scale a high-traffic platform with video streaming, image processing, and CRM features.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop backend services using Python, Django ORM, and related technologies.
  • Scale a high-traffic platform supporting video streaming, image processing, and CRM features.
  • Collaborate with frontend and data teams to deliver robust, maintainable systems.
  • Implement DevOps practices on AWS, including deployment automation and monitoring.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Python development experience.
  • Strong backend expertise with Django ORM and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with messaging/cCaching systems (Redis or RabbitMQ) and Redis cache.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and quality tooling (Sentry, Pytest, Flake8, Bandit; wemake-python-styleguide a plus).
  • Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD, and Git (Git Flow, Code Reviews).
Nice to have
  • Payment gateways, Vue.js, WebSockets (Django Channels), feature flags, advanced Django admin plugins.
  • Poetry, Fabric, image/PDF processing.
