General Accounting and Reporting Manager Accounting Manager role overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and providing decision support to leadership. Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations (accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger). Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules. Monitor company budgets, forecasts, and expenditures. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and government reporting requirements. Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits. Supervise and train accounting staff, assign tasks, review work outputs, provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations. Foster collaboration with other departments (HR, Operations, Sales). Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems. Recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Support automation and digitalization of accounting processes. Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision‑making. Support strategic planning and cost‑saving initiatives. Handle special projects such as feasibility studies and business expansion support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus but not required. At least 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role. Experience in corporate accounting, taxation, and auditing. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (IFRS, GAAP), and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting systems/software (SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle). Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
