Overview We are looking for a Dental Billing Specialist to handle the accurate and timely entry of dental insurance claims using our dental billing software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, insurance coding, and claim submission processes. Attention to detail, accuracy, and familiarity with dental billing systems are essential for this role. Base pay range $7,200.00/yr - $7,800.00/yr Responsibilities Enter and submit dental insurance claims accurately in the dental billing software. Review treatment notes and verify that all procedures are properly coded with CDT codes. Ensure patient and insurance information is correct before claim submission. Track and update claim status in the system, following up on pending or rejected claims. Post insurance payments and adjustments when necessary. Communicate with dental office staff and insurance companies to resolve claim issues. Maintain organized and accurate claim records for auditing and reporting. Requirements Experience in dental billing and claim entry is required. Knowledge of dental insurance plans, CDT codes, and EOBs. Proficiency with dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or similar). Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
