Position Overview The Finance Business Partner is a key strategic role within the finance team, responsible for providing financial insight, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making across the organization. This role bridges the gap between finance and operational teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. Reporting to the Regional CFO Asia Work closely to Regional and Group Finance (based in Denmark) and SGL stakeholders to ensure company’s best accounting practices Key Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and present financial forecasts, budgets, and reports. Conduct variance analysis to monitor performance against budget and provide actionable insights. Support strategic planning processes with financial data and trend analysis. Business Partnering Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to align financial strategies with business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor by providing financial guidance and influencing decision-making. Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and understanding of financial impacts. Performance Management Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive business improvements. Identify areas of financial risk and opportunity within the business. Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and cost management. Reporting & Compliance Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies. Assist in audit processes and provide necessary documentation and support. Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial management and reporting. Implement tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial analysis. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills. Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering roles.
