We are currently partnering with two prominent players in the retail industry to identify dynamic and experienced leaders for critical executive roles.

About the Opportunities

We are seeking TWO highly accomplished professionals for the following distinct, yet equally impactful, leadership positions:

  1. Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Mall Operations

    • Scope: Oversee the comprehensive operations of approximately multiple malls within the Southern Metro Manila area.

    • Focus: Drive operational excellence, enhance customer experience, ensure efficient mall management, and achieve strategic business objectives for a leading mall developer.

  2. General Manager (GM) - Multi-Mall Portfolio

    • Scope: Lead the overall business performance and strategic direction for multiple retail centers under a prominent retail chain.

    • Focus: Responsible for the holistic management of assigned properties, including sales, marketing, operations, and financial performance, ensuring sustained growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities (Across Both Roles)

While each role has its unique focus, successful candidates will generally be responsible for:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute operational and business strategies that align with company goals, driving growth and market leadership.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of mall operations, including security, maintenance, tenant relations, customer service, and overall property management.

  • Financial Management: Oversee P&L, manage budgets, forecast revenue, control expenses, and identify opportunities for increased profitability and efficiency.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire large teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with tenants, customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations and positive outcomes.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly advantageous.

  • Experience:

    • For AVP, Mall Operations: Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in mall or retail operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity overseeing multiple sites.

    • For General Manager: Minimum of 7 years of extensive experience in general management within the retail, mall, or real estate sectors, with a proven track record of P&L responsibility and multi-site leadership.

    • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, achieving financial targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Attributes: Highly results-oriented, adaptable, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation

The salary for these executive positions is competitive, ranging from PHP 200,000 to PHP 400,000 per month commensurate with experience and qualifications.
