FACILITIES & ENGINEERING SERVICES MANAGER

Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, laundry and linen, fleet and security, and janitorial work. Performs management evaluation and competency training, and development of facilities engineering and operations personnel. Develop full-scope contingency plans for utilities' emergency stoppage. Establishes a system to proactively manage efforts to minimize risk and to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standard requirements. Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of hospital equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. Review work orders to ensure that assignments are completed. Responsible for facilities inspections and reports. Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Must be a licensed Engineer With at least 5 years of relevant Managerial experience With strong leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
