About the role The Accounting Manager role at power corporation Philippines is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company as a key member of the finance team. This full-time position is based in Makati City, Metro Manila and will involve overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting operations. What you'll be doing Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems Supervise and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and training as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement accounting best practices What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent) Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the Accounting or Management Consulting industry Excellent knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using accounting software and other financial management tools Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines What we offer At power corporation Philippines, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
