The HR Generalist plays a key operational role in the HR team by managing recruitment, timekeeping, employee records, onboarding, and policy compliance. This position supports both employees and managers to ensure HR practices are executed smoothly and in compliance with labor regulations.

1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist in job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate follow-up.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and facilitate orientation for new hires.
2. Timekeeping & Attendance
  • Monitor and validate daily attendance, leave applications, and overtime.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping data is submitted for payroll processing.
3. Employee Records Management
  • Maintain and update 201 files, contracts, government IDs, and other employee records.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of sensitive personnel documents.
4. Policy Implementation & Compliance
  • Disseminate and explain company policies and employee guidelines.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
5. Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Support engagement activities, team events, and recognition programs.
  • Act as a point-of-contact for employee inquiries and basic HR-related concerns.
6. Training & Development Support
  • Help coordinate training schedules, attendance, and completion records.
  • Assist in the documentation of onboarding and skills training.
7. HR Admin & Documentation
  • Prepare HR memos, contracts, notices, and employment certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or service-oriented industry
  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government reporting
  • Experience with timekeeping systems and basic payroll coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
