What you will do:

  • Monitor and Manage FinOps practices.
  • Ensuring that cloud costs are visible across teams, helping stakeholders understand consumption and expense patterns.
  • Implementing technical and financial strategies to reduce unnecessary spending, such as rightsizing resources, eliminating waste, choosing effective pricing models, and leveraging automation for cost control.
  • Working closely with engineering, product, and finance teams to align cloud usage with business objectives, enabling cross-functional governance.
  • Providing cost reports and forecasts, conducting audits of cloud expenses, and analyzing billing data for inefficiencies.
  • Developing or deploying tools to automate cost monitoring, implement best practices, and alert teams to spending anomalies.
  • Ensuring financial management aligns with the organization's cloud security and compliance policies
