The role is based in the Manila office.

Your role in our team

• Technical due diligence and site development master planning
• Assessment and analysis of natural terrain and site conditions
• Develop site grading, earthworks and road grading plans
• Design layouts of road network, site-wide drainage & sewerage network and collection system, site-wide potable water and firewater network and distribution system in accordance with appropriate technical standards and code of practices
• Layout design of utility corridors (fiber, telecoms, electrical, etc.)
• Design of pavement (rigid/flexible) and drainage in accordance with AASHTO, FHWA, DPWH and other relevant standards
• Provides project teams with engineering information on road routes, alignment, structure locations and other physical data
• Produces civil drawings
• Ensures timely submission of outputs to the project team
• Regularly reports drawing status to the Project Manager
• Conducts site visits and fulfils other responsibilities assigned from time to time

What we look for

• Licensed Civil Engineer; post-graduate studies (MSc or PhD) will be an advantage
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience (6 years for G4), preferably from multi-disciplinary consulting firms and similar industries
• Practical knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, DPWH (DGCS, Blue Book) and other related local / international standards and codes
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation, Civil3D/OpenRoads, ArcGIS, HECRAS/HMS, Water/SewerGEMS, Infoworks-ICM, and similar software
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure BIM-modelling tools such as Infraworks
• Organised and structured approach to tasks; ability to manage multiple projects
• Initiative and technical problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written English communication skills; fluency in other local dialects/foreign languages is a plus
• Visualization, dashboard and data presentation skills
• Experience in linear infrastructure (roads, highways, bridges, railways), water projects, energy projects, marine infrastructure and large site development projects
• Familiarity with numerical programming (C++, VB, SQL, Python), visual programming (Grasshopper, Dynamo, Power BI, GeometryGym, Salamander, Karamba), automation tools, gaming engines, and API/COM interfaces is an advantage
• Experience with presentation and visualization tools such as SketchUp, Power BI, Studio Viz/Max is an advantage
