Responsibilities- Plots key performance indicators and analyzes trends over time to identify early warning signals or indications of any issues or risk.
- Validates/tests transactions to ascertain the integrity of reports used in recording transactions and decision making; ensures compliance with established policies and procedures meant to guard against financial leakage, including supervisory and quality assurance procedures built into the processes; ensures critical BAM processes are working effectively.
- Reviews the assigned BAM processes to identify opportunities for improving the operating effectiveness and efficiency of processes and related controls.
- Collaborates with operating units across the organization to provide management assurance that controls are working as intended; risks that threaten financial, regulatory, and reputational are identified and managed; revenues from new products, services and/or promotions are properly captured, billed and booked.
- Exhibits an understanding of the company’s products, end-to-end processes and systems, network and information technology systems and tools that will deliver BAM output.
- Provides relevant inputs to drive innovation, process improvements and enhancements.
- Conducts process improvement initiatives that drive control enhancements.
- Liaises with different groups to help investigate and correct potential exceptions reported by the team.
- Provides recommendations based on the results of control execution to add more value within the organization.
- Assists the team in driving the implementation of BAM-related action points/recommendations to help the Business address issues.
