Job Responsibilities Ensure accurate period closure and reporting of financial results. Manage the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes at the business unit level. Report and track Business Performance for the assigned Business Units (BU), providing financial decision support to management and BU heads with commercial financial insights to enhance sales, profit performance, and investment decisions. Support compliance with internal controls and policies, tax, and other statutory requirements. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Ensure budget targets and guidelines are cascaded to the assigned Business Units. Work with BU leadership teams in preparing plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with management expectations; finalize presentation packs with additional business insights and commentary. Identify and review funding requirements for endorsement to BU heads. Business Performance Measurement and Decision Support Track business performance vs. plans, budgets, and forecasts (including working capital management), analyze and draw insights from reports and market benchmark data. Drive cost controllership, bringing deep understanding of cost drivers to monitor and optimize spend effectiveness. Support BU in making timely, strategically aligned, and value‑maximizing decisions through multi‑dimensional analysis within relevant financial and operational scenarios (opening/closing of stores, capex, new channels/products, and others). Reporting, Governance & Control Sign‑off statutory, regulatory reporting, and group reporting. Work with Tax teams to ensure tax position for revenue and spend is optimized and risks minimized. Facilitate communication of and monitor compliance to Finance and Accounting policies and procedures across the BU(s). Ensure adequate management of financial risk in line with company and group policies. Manage internal and external financial and tax audits. Qualifications Certified Public Accountant with a degree in Accounting. Strong technical experience in end‑to‑end accounting. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in General Accounting and Financial Reporting. Minimum of 5 years in a Supervisory/Managerial role.
