Overview

We are seeking a proactive Import Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for managing importation processes and ensuring full compliance with local and international regulatory requirements. In the early stages of the Company, this role will handle the Import License Registration and various product registration, in coordination with the buyer. Eventually this role will oversee customs clearance, import documentation, and liaises with government agencies to facilitate smooth and lawful product entry.

Responsibilities
  • Registration for Import License
  • Coordination with buyer as to Product Registration, including PS and ICC marks
  • Manage end-to-end importation processes, ensuring timely clearance of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with customs laws, trade regulations, and government policies.
  • Prepare and review import documentation, permits, and licenses.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor changes in import regulations and advise relevant teams accordingly.
  • Resolve any regulatory or customs issues that arise during importation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for audits and compliance.
  • Lead or supervise a team handling import and regulatory tasks.
