Job Description Join our Home Lending Modelling team to leverage your data science expertise in building and analyzing ML/AI products and solutions. Job Summary As a Data Scientist VP on the Home Lending Modelling team, you’ll join an organization that builds, implements, tests, and analyzes ML/AI products & solutions. Your ability to understand data relationships and take ownership of data‑driven tasks will be key to your success. You’ll also develop approaches and/or processes to accomplish goals with an emphasis on A/B testing & advanced analytics. You’ll utilize strong communication skills to effectively operate in direct collaboration with key stakeholders across functions and lines‑of‑business. Job Responsibilities Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies, initiatives, and ML/AI models. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify testing opportunities and develop hypotheses. Ensure rigorous statistical analysis and interpretation of test results to inform business decisions. Leverage a variety of statistical and mathematical techniques and algorithms to analyze datasets and solve complex business problems. Develop presentations to summarize and communicate key messages to senior management, sponsors, and colleagues. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 5+ years of experience working in an A/B testing and/or analytical role. MS degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or similar STEM discipline. Experience using statistical programming languages (Python, R) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Practical understanding of ML/AI. Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information for audiences at various levels of the business. Strong storytelling capabilities. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Functional industry experience in finance, operations, sales, marketing, credit/risk, or technology. Knowledge of the mortgage industry.
