Job Summary:

The Engineering Staff plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and functionality of the dealership's buildings, facilities, and equipment. This role involves assisting in construction projects, repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment that complies with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Maintenance & Repairs:
    • Oversee and perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of buildings, mechanical systems, and dealership equipment.
    • Ensure that all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other structural systems are functioning properly and safely.
  • Project Assistance & Coordination:
    • Assist in planning and implementing construction or renovation projects within the dealership.
    • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-efficient project completion.
  • Equipment Monitoring :
    • Monitor and maintain workshop tools, machinery, and other technical assets, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
    • Schedule regular servicing and calibration of essential equipment.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, equipment logs, and project progress.
    • Report concerns and provide suggestions for improvements to management.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and Toyota standards.
    • Support environmental and safety programs as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferably with experience in building construction, repair, and equipment maintenance
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards work
