Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our electrical systems and equipment. This role involves diagnosing electrical problems, performing preventive maintenance, and installing electrical components according to established guidelines and protocols. Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of electrical systems, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The technician will work independently or as part of a team, maintaining the safety, reliability, and integrity of all electrical setups. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose complex electrical problems and carry out timely repairs. Install, maintain, and calibrate electrical systems and components according to standards. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to achieve efficient maintenance operations. Document and update maintenance logs and records accurately. Provide emergency support and repairs to minimize production downtime. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized electrical maintenance services. Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in electrical systems. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and procedures. Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies at optimal levels. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints. Proven experience with preventive maintenance and repair techniques. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently. Effective communication skills and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical maintenance. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces when necessary. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.
