Job Description:

  • Render prompt treatment of illnesses/injuries both work-related and non-work-related, not requiring hospital emergency room care. Refer employees to qualified medical specialists in the community when appropriate.
  • Assess an employee’s ability to return to work following an illness or injury and provide physical capabilities assessments to evaluate job accommodations.
  • Conduct periodic examinations of employees in designated medical monitoring programs.
  • Perform pre-placement, transfer, exit tests/examinations, and other programs identified through health data analysis.
  • Liaise in conducting annual employee health screenings focused on health promotion and disease prevention. Review screening results, provide follow-up and counseling on abnormalities.
  • Make referrals for treatment and follow-up of non-work-related medical conditions.
  • Participate in review and follow-up of complex Employee Compensation and Disability Benefit cases. Serve as a medical resource to HR and occupational health teams, advising on care and prognosis, including expected disability duration. Interface with local medical community to facilitate early return to work when appropriate.
  • Review, interpret, and sign appropriate tracings and laboratory reports. Recommend follow-up actions for abnormal ECGs, audiometric, pulmonary, X-ray, laboratory, or other medical tests.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid PRC license.
  • Must already have a valid TIN, COR, and Vaccination Card.
  • Must be able to start immediately (within 7 days).
  • Possess competent clinical skills, with experience in occupational health, hospital, or equivalent for at least 6 months to 1 year.
  • Preferably hold the following training certificates: Basic Course on Occupational Medicine (BCOM).
