The Industrial and Occupational Health Physician is responsible for consolidating and acquiring the patient's medical history, performing the necessary physical examination, and providing recommendations to specialists whenever necessary.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conducts pre-employment and annual medical examinations. Performs thorough physical examinations on patients for pre-employment, executive check-up, and annual physical examination, in-house or on-site, among affiliated Industrial companies and walk-in clients, including Overseas Filipino Workers and Qualimed applicants or personnel.
  • Makes referrals to specialists of medical cases deemed necessary for clearance purposes. Classifies and verifies client's medical examination results. Makes proper and appropriate recommendations on the Pre-Employment Medical Examination Report Form.
  • Holds daily consultation open to all employees requiring medical clearance
Company Physician (Retainer)
  • Organizes, administers, and maintains an Occupational Health Service Program integrating therein an Occupational Safety Program.
  • Continually monitors the work environment for health hazards through periodic inspection of the workplace.
  • Prevents diseases or injuries in the workplace by establishing proper medical supervision over substances used, processes, and work environment.
  • Conserves the health of the workers through physical examinations, proper advice for placement, and health education.
  • Provides first aid, emergency services, and treatment depending on the nature of the industry.
  • Assures adequate medical care of ill and injured workers.
  • Encourages personal health maintenance and physical fitness and proper nutrition practices.
  • Provides guidance, information, and services for family planning programs.
Qualifications
  • Must be a Doctor of Medicine;
  • Licensed physician with Basic Occupational Safety and Health training or passed the Basic Course in Occupational Medicine;
  • Preferably with Animal Bite Certification.
  • Preferably with at least two (2) years of experience as a company/industrial doctor in a reputable hospital or organization.
