Overview

The purpose of a Loan Processor is to assist Australian mortgage brokers with administrative tasks to process and track loan applications. The role requires you to communicate with relevant stakeholders, prepare documentation, keep systems and CRMs updated, and follow a loan application from pre-submission to post-approval within required timeframes.

Responsibilities
  • Document management (collecting, renaming, organizing, and following up sensitive supporting documentation).
  • NCCP compliance checks.
  • Data entry of client information into MyCRM (LMG CRM system).
  • Data entry of a loan application into MyCRM and Apply Online (AOL), Simpology, or directly to the lender.
  • Living expense analysis.
  • Generation of application paperwork, including First Home Buyers and Discharge forms.
  • Ordering valuations based on broker information and coordinating with valuation firms.
  • Pricing requests across multiple lenders for new applications and settled loans.
  • Generating and interpreting comprehensive credit reports.
  • Assisting in mitigating MIRs, conditional approvals, and settlement conditions.
  • Cross-checking approval and settlement documents to ensure client requirements are met per submission.
  • Ensuring settlement occurs on time and meets crucial deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant course.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the AU Mortgage Industry specializing in loan processing.
  • Experience using aggregators CRM such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex, Salestrekker or other mortgage broking CRM software.
  • Proficiency in IT software and Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (including Gmail or Outlook).
  • Experience using project/task management tools (Monday.com, Trello, Airtable, Asana, etc.).
