Overview
Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO) – National Household Targeting Office (NHTO) under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office. Responsible for coordinating planning, organization, and execution of activities that provide essential support services to office operations, ensuring timely fulfillment of administrative needs for the NHTO Operations and Information Technology Divisions. Supervises the NHTO Administrative Unit, ensures documents undergo Complete Staff Work (CSW), prepares office documentation, assists in developing and implementing office policies, manages the Director’s schedule, monitors budget utilization, oversees procurement processes, and performs other tasks as assigned.

- Experience: Three (3) years of relevant government service experience in administration (procurement, budget, quality management system, providing administrative/clerical support)

Job Description : Under the direction of the Director, coordinate planning, organization, and execution of activities that provide essential support services to office operations, ensure timely fulfillment of administrative needs for the NHTO Operations and IT Divisions. Oversee daily office functions, track directives and work plans, ensure compliance with quality management standards. Supervise the NHTO Administrative Unit, ensure CSW, prepare office documentation, assist in developing/implementing office policies, manage the Director’s schedule, monitor budget utilization, oversee procurement, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organization, direction, and execution of division activities providing support services to office operations.
- Support the Head of Office in overseeing daily operations.
- Monitor and track directives, work plans, and performance contracts (PC) of the Head of Office/Bureau/Service.
- Assist in managing the office’s quality management system and ensure compliance.
- Exercise direct administrative supervision of NHTO Administrative Unit personnel.
- Ensure CSW for all Administrative Unit documents before submission to the Director.
- Prepare office documents such as correspondences, proposals, and other documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing office policies and procedures as required.
- Provide regular updates/briefings to the Director on administrative matters.
- Coordinate with the Director’s Secretary to manage the Director’s schedule and meetings.
- Monitor the office budget utilization and financial management.
- Ensure procurement requests are endorsed to Procurement Service and items are delivered timely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.
