We are looking for an SEO Specialist to manage a small group of accounts and improve organic search rankings and visibility. You will be focused on one main site and a few smaller satellite sites that we have SEO'd very successfully in past years, however they have gone downhill last Christmas and we have just started to turn them around, improving now. The flagship site lost its longstanding number 1 position for its most important keyword last Christmas and it’s vitally important we do whatever is needed to regain that. You will be required to attend work from 9am to 5pm weekdays, AUSTRALIA/Sydney Timezone (AEST). If this is you, read on: Responsibilities Conducting keyword research and analysis to identify valuable opportunities for organic traffic growth. Support the implementation of on‑page optimization techniques, including optimizing meta tags, headings, images, and URLs. Collaborate with content creators/AI’s to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into the creation and optimization of website content. Monitoring and analyzing website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics to identify areas for improvement. Executing off‑page optimization strategies, such as link‑building and outreach efforts. Conducting competitor analysis to identify SEO strategies and tactics used by competitors. Integrate SEO efforts with overall marketing campaigns. Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO tools and techniques, and provide recommendations for optimization. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Prior experience in SEO with a PROVEN TRACK RECORD, you will need to supply us with screenshots of dashboards for sites you have successfully SEO'd and be able to competently explain what you did and what the results were. A video screen recording of you discussing this is the preferred job application to us. Excellent written and verbal ENGLISH communication skills. Thorough understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, and similar platforms. Knowledge of on‑page and off‑page SEO techniques, including keyword research, content optimization, and link building. Detail‑oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong willingness to learn and stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends and SEO best practices. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
