Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Toril, Metro Davao for an accountant position at SnapSnax Ventures Inc. The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial decision-making. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, and coordinating with auditors and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, government reporting, and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Monitor expenses and analyze variances against budget.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Support management with financial insights to aid decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license preferred but not always required.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
