Responsibilities Oversee and assist with a number of accounting advisory service engagements, making sure that each project is completed on schedule, under budget, and in line with client expectations. Knowledgeable about the general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in daily accounting activities. Create, put into place, and keep up financial control systems that protect business assets and guarantee the accuracy of financial reporting. Make ensuring that balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements are prepared accurately and on schedule. To find patterns, opportunities, and possible areas for improvement, do a thorough financial analysis. Offer financial analysis and suggestions to aid in decision-making and company expansion. Verify adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws. Organize tax planning, preparation, and reporting in coordination with outside tax advisors. Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Knows financial audits and coordinates with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Up to date with the industry-specific issues and emerging risks which may affect the Firm's client. Assist in the development of client proposals, presentations, and business development activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering value-added services. Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making and contribute to the growth and profitability of client's businesses. Qualifications At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance or accounting advisory services. Experience in a consulting firm or professional services organization is advantageous. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance, with the ability to manage complex financial statements and analyses. CIA certification or equivalent is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
