Overview

The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Sustainability Specialist to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role strengthens The Medical City's ESG data governance, analytics, and reporting capabilities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and actionable insights from sustainability data for compliance, board reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Support in developing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies and procedures, analyze proposed actions for social and environmental sustainability and compliance with internationally recognized best practices, and support defining and reporting on the ESG strategy.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Studies, or Industrial Engineering (with general sustainability experience).
  • 3–6+ years of sustainability experience or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to follow and apply the organization’s sustainability, ESG, and regulatory policies to identify and mitigate risks in the workplace.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: ability to collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
  • Insights and Reporting: ability to extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance Management: perform compliance monitoring activities and provide basic advice on regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Compliance: conduct specified audit activities and draft findings with recommended corrective actions for review by the lead auditor.
  • Business Requirements Identification: support collection of business requirements using document and workflow analysis.
  • Personal Capability Building: engage in assessment, development planning, and training to grow capabilities.
