The Impact

The team is looking for an Associate ICAD Specialist to support the Index Management & Production Group (IMPG) in the APAC region. The ICAD Team performs a crucial operational function within IMPG and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance of various S&P Dow Jones (S&P DJI) equity indices, focusing on operational processes and validations.

About The Role

Grade Level (for internal use): 09

The team supports daily calculation and production of equity indices tracked by numerous listed products. Responsibilities include solving non-routine problems, running QA validations, monitoring real-time calculation and distribution, recalculating underlying component indices, and collaborating with technology support to automate and troubleshoot systems.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate S&P DJI indices daily, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Run QA validations for accuracy and integrity
  • Monitor real-time calculation and resolve system alerts
  • Recalculate component indices as needed and escalate when necessary
  • Collaborate with technology and support teams to improve systems
  • Maintain relationships with other departments such as Client Coverage, Index Services, and IT Support
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Mathematics, Economics, IT, or Finance
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services or analytics, preferably with an index provider
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and asset classes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Access, and data tools like Reuters, FactSet, Wind; knowledge of Python and VBA is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
