About the role We're on the lookout for a diligent and detail‑oriented Financial Reporting Supervisor to join our team in Cebu. In this full‑time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring proper bookkeeping and financial reporting, taking into consideration relevant accounting and tax principles to effectively prepare fairly presented, audited financial statements and reports. What you’ll be doing General Accounting Review and approval of month‑end reporting activities outputs, such as Bank Reconciliation and Schedules of Bank Reconciling Items Month‑end accrual and deferral reports (including payroll) Related Party Transaction Reconciliation and Schedules of Reconciling Items Preparation of month‑end trial balance Review of General Journal Vouchers for non‑recurring adjusting journal entries Propose pro‑forma entries for non‑recurring accounting transactions Financial Reporting Preparation and first layer review of Month End Consolidation Package and schedules Preparation of Monthly Profit and Loss Variance Analysis Review of Balance Sheet Schedules and Analytics Review of ad hoc financial reports, as needed Participates in the introduction and deployment of new or improved finance systems Facilitates and coordinates with auditors and other key process owners for timely audit completion What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role, preferably in the accounting industry Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards Strong understanding of PFRS and Basic Tax Principles Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., MS Excel) Experience in the transport or logistics industry is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
