Overview

Role: Brokerage & Investigations Associate
Location: Philippines - Taguig / Manila area (A.T. Yuchengco Centre - Taguig City)

This is a client-facing role within the Brokerage and Investigation department, supporting the administration of brokerage rates for Global Broking in Europe. The department handles documentation of fee schedules, maintenance of fees in systems, and investigation of invoice-related queries. You will interact directly with clients on brokerage-related queries.

Role Responsibilities
  • Brokerage Management: provide central documentation for all brokerage rates; ensure proper documentation and storage of agreed rates with governance; respond to requests from customers and internal stakeholders for new or amended fee schedules; notify personnel and customers of new/amended agreements; engage with relevant departments to automate brokerage rates or implement manual processes as needed.
  • Brokerage Data Management: translate brokerage fees into relevant data systems; input fees for new/amended rates and discounts; perform 4-eyes/6-eyes checks and ad-hoc checks to ensure data reliability; suggest system enhancements and centralisation of rates.
  • Customer Investigation: manage trade investigations raised by clients after invoice reviews; perform brokerage checks requested by audit; track transactions where brokerage was input manually; suggest improvements to systems and processes; design and implement reconciliations and MI/KPIs to support the business and controls.
  • General: document processes and align them across business lines; evolve the function and implement process improvements.
  • Training / Mentoring: train junior or other team members on processes; mentor junior team members in career development.
Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, and proactive
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication; adapts style to audience
  • Experience in fast-paced or pressured environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Significant experience in financial markets and in a similar organisation
  • Experience in training / mentoring junior colleagues and overseeing their work
  • Strong understanding of risk and controls

Desired

  • Knowledge of the TP ICAP brand, functions & structure
  • Experience with TP ICAP in-house systems
  • Experience in change / project management
