By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve room and banquet revenue targets. Identify and pursue new event business opportunities across corporate, MICE, wedding, and social segments. Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and property tours to promote hotel facilities. Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages in line with business goals and market dynamics. Drive functions hall banquet sales for government event, weddings, conferences, and social functions. Collaborate with the banquet operations team to ensure flawless event execution. Create Maintain an updated database of event planners, corporates, and travel agents. Account Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, handlers and partners. Manage key accounts to ensure repeat and long-term business. Conduct regular performance reviews with top clients and track business contribution. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to stay competitive. Identify new business segments and promotional opportunities. Work with the marketing team on targeted campaigns and brand visibility initiatives. Reporting & Coordination Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports. Coordinate with the reservations, banquet, and finance teams for smooth booking and billing processes. Participate in revenue meetings and contribute to forecasting and budgeting exercises. Qualifications 5-15 years experience in event business handling corporate and govt accounts understanding of Philgeps and event RFQ proposal is preferable excellent written and verbal communication skills.
