Job summary

The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Finance & Accounting Department, overseeing the entire finance and accounting team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency for the organization.

Key responsibilities
  • Departmental Oversight : Provide strategic direction and guidance to the entire accounting team, including Disbursement, Collections, and Compliance.
  • Financial Management : Oversee all financial functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collections : Oversee the management of accounts receivable/collection processes.
  • Disbursement : Supervise the disbursement and expense management process to optimize cash flow and working capital.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing finance and accounting teams.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and audit processes.
Skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
