Credit Analyst – Multiple Locations

Job Description (typical responsibilities):

  • Conduct comprehensive credit investigations for existing and target clients, including interim reviews and annual reviews.
  • Prepare high-quality Credit Analysis reports and financial spreadsheets; provide objective and independent credit assessments.
  • Provide Credit Risk Ratings and ensure financials are correctly inputted into the system to generate ratings.
  • Support underwriting teams in handling new accounts, initial credit rating, and renewal of accounts.
  • Verify authenticity of borrower licenses and documents; perform site visits and collateral inspections per policy.
  • Coordinate with relevant units to ensure compliance with branch and head office policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly Loan Portfolio reports as required by BSP or regulatory bodies.
  • Review KYC/AML documentation; ensure proposals meet regulatory and internal standards; manage documentation and reporting for audit purposes.

Qualifications (typical):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, risk management, or related fields (branch-based lending preferred).
  • Strong financial analysis, industry analysis, and data collection capabilities.
  • Experience with credit bureaus, risk models, and collateral valuation; familiarity with AML/KYC and fraud prevention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Willing to work onsite; some postings indicate hybrid arrangements in specific locations.
