Overview Analytics Governance Manager (Data Acquisition) role at Globe Telecom. The front-gate steward of enterprise data, ensuring every dataset entering the analytics ecosystem meets the highest standards of quality, governance, and compliance. You will lead the end-to-end process of onboarding new data sources, certifying Data Quality for Analytics (DQ4A), and aligning with enterprise data-management and governance frameworks. This is a non-development leadership role: you will orchestrate people, processes, and technology, while engineering teams handle the actual builds. Duties And Responsibilities Drive the data acquisition and DQ4A certification process, ensuring all new and changed data sources meet governance and quality requirements. Design, implement, and continuously improve data acquisition processes, including change management and risk controls. Coordinate with engineering, data governance, and business teams to define drivers, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans. Maintain meticulous documentation, lineage, and compliance records for audits and enterprise reporting. Foster a culture of data discipline and risk awareness across stakeholders. Must-Have Qualifications 5 years data management, platform service delivery, or analytics experience 3 yrs process management (design, implementation, change mgt) 3 years of experience with implementing or managing enterprise-scale data warehouse or data management projects - understanding data tools 3 years of enterprise scale data warehouse Ability to understand the key drivers, dependencies and risks Strong understanding of data tools (cleansing, master data management, metadata, etc.) and data quality policies and procedure Meticulous attention to detail with an overall passion for discipline Ability to understand and assess potential risk Deep understanding of data governance, data management principles/processes Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline Nice-to-Have Qualifications 3 years of experience managing people or leading project teams 3 years of experience with implementing or managing enterprise-scale data warehouse or data management projects Certification in relevant database and business intelligence Understanding of billing, provisioning applications Successful draft, implementation, and compliance auditing of a data governance policy Equal Opportunity Employer Globe’s hiring process promotes equal opportunity to applicants.
