About The Role As a FP&A Analyst, you will be a technical analyst enabling Hive’s strategic objectives, focusing on special projects, reporting, and analysis. You will collaborate with leads, finance teams, data and product teams to continuously improve the company’s financial state. You are an individual contributor deeply involved in the company’s direction, specializing in analysis and strategy. Responsibilities Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Assist in creating financial forecasts (revenue, expenses, cash flow) and analyze financial trends to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate with departments to track and manage budgets, prepare annual budgets, and perform variance analysis to monitor expenditures. Cost Management and Efficiency: Monitor departmental spending for cost-efficiency, identify opportunities for cost-savings, and propose improvements. Process business transactions and verify financial data for accounts payable. Investment and Cash Flow Management: Support cash flow management and liquidity planning; assist in evaluating investment opportunities and performing financial due diligence. Financial Reporting and Support: Contribute to management reports, provide data for financial reviews, and support senior finance leadership in decision-making. Prepare and file tax returns and assist in tax planning and forecasting to optimize the company’s tax position. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to provide financial insights and support cross-functional projects related to financial strategy. Other responsibilities as needed to support operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CPA or equivalent preferred At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounting, or taxation Tech-savvy with strong Microsoft Excel skills Solid understanding of accounting principles and working tax regulations in the Philippines High attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills and tools Knowledge of HMOs, healthcare, insurance, or financial services is a plus Benefits and Growth Day 1 benefits for full-time employees include comprehensive healthcare coverage for you and dependents and paid time off.
