About the job The Accounting Supervisor (Financial Reporting) supports the Accounting Manager in developing and implementing accounting policies, reporting systems, and internal controls. The role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting while driving continuous improvement in accounting processes and compliance with applicable laws and standards. Specifically, the Accounting Supervisor focuses on Accounts Receivable transactions arising from Sale, Transfer of Rights, Cancellation, Advances to/from Buyers, and Advances to Employees Subject to Liquidation. What you’ll do: Assist the Accounting Manager in formulating, developing, and recommending accounting policies, procedures, and implementation guidelines. Develop and implement financial management reporting systems to ensure timely and accurate financial statements compliant with GAAP/IFRS. Ensure all financial transactions are properly supported with general ledger reports and schedules to maintain strong internal controls and prevent errors or fraud. Establish sound bank reconciliation practices and recommend process improvements to strengthen control measures. Support the VP - Finance in liaising with government agencies (BIR, BOI, etc.) for audits, compliance, and negotiations. Review financial policies regularly and recommend updates to ensure alignment with current tax laws and regulations. What we’re looking for: Graduate of BS Accountancy , CPA preferred . Minimum two (2) years of relevant supervisory experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the real estate/property development industry. Proven background in financial management, planning and analysis, financial policies, investor relations, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of local taxation laws. Strong leadership skills in organization development, coaching, mentoring, and situational assessment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. Willing to work in MAKATI. Why join us?
