Initiative‑taker who is action oriented and possesses a keen sense of urgency. Knowledgeable in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel Key competencies: collaboration/communication, teamworking and financial accounting and reporting. Desired Skills and Behavioral Competencies Experience in external audit and/or end‑to‑end bookkeeping, statutory reports preparation and handling year‑end audits is an advantage. Other Special Requirements Periodic financial closing. FS preparation and analysis. Liaising with internal and external auditors to complete and close audit requirements. Preparation and submission of statutory requirements to the BIR, SEC, LGU, DOE, ERC, BOI, SBMA, etc. Process improvement initiatives and other projects. Key Responsibilities Maintain the financial records of the organization including: preparation and maintenance of the general ledger in compliance with GAAP / PFRS; reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts monthly; preparation of related journal entries and reports; monthly income and expense accruals and other adjusting journal entries; reconciliation of financial records against accounting system (i.e., SAP); research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner; maintenance of documentation for all journal entries and account reconciliations; participation in periodic closing process. Responsible for financial reporting and analysis for Management requirements: preparation of financial statements and other relevant reports; analysis of account activity and fluctuations; perform actuals‑to‑actuals variance analysis (month‑on‑month, year‑on‑year). Responsible for financial reporting for audit and regulatory requirements: review and analysis of financial transactions for compliance; preparation of full financial statements including notes for external audit; preparation of audited financial statements and other statutory filings; support internal and external auditors during the audit process. Other responsibilities include: providing assistance/active participation in special projects; adhering to all Company policies and procedures; ensuring accounting controls and authorizations are in place and followed; performing other duties as assigned.
