Join Metrobank as a Payments Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of payment transactions while supporting regulatory compliance. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Perform accurate and timely verification/processing of payments transactions from foreign/domestic branches, HO units, subsidiaries, tie-ups, correspondent banks, and domestic local banks Retrieve and process payment files received from tie-ups website and domestic local banks via PESONet, PDDTS-EODN, PDDTS-RTGS-USD Upload rates provided by Treasury Group Prepare and send tracers to foreign and domestic correspondents for errors, discrepancies, funding issues, and other inward payments-related concerns Coordinate with Specialized Accounting Department and other units on unreconciled items for immediate resolution Prepare accounting entries for all manually processed transactions Prepare required daily and monthly reports Coordinate with branches and other bank units on payment orders needing special handling Answer phone calls and queries from branches and other units regarding inward payments Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence for above threshold transactions and send tracers to branches via MS Outlook, monitoring replies Send tracers for transactions flagged in SWIFT Sanction Screening and monitor replies Prepare DM/CM tickets and perform posting of payments-related transactions via Mosaic Participate in establishing and implementing policies and procedures ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Perform other related functions as assigned About You The company is looking for: Preferably a graduate of business or finance course Fresh graduates and young professionals are welcome to apply Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high sense of order and attention to detail Proficient in essential Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to work independently or as part of a team Amenable to work on shifting schedules, holidays, graveyard shifts, and split offs Training & Development Metrobank provides opportunities that enhance skills and unlock talents, helping employees evolve into well-rounded individuals and future leaders.
