Summary: The Technical Architect will oversee and contribute across the full software and project lifecycle — from solution design to hands-on implementation guidance. This role involves close collaboration with developers, DevOps teams, clients, and other project stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement modern cloud-native solutions with seamless integration into legacy systems.
• Develop end-to-end architecture for microservices and enterprise-grade applications.
• Ensure all solutions meet business requirements, scalability goals, and security standards.
• Lead architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and developer handoffs.
• Provide technical guidance on system design, API standards, and performance optimization.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong backend development background (Java, Spring Boot).
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or OpenShift).
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of system integration tools: message queues, Redis, external APIs.
• Security-first approach including handling secrets, application hardening, and data encryption.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for technical designs and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices: GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible (preferred).
• Relevant cloud certifications (preferred).

Knowledge, Experience & Education (examples across postings):

• Graduate of a 4-year IT/CS degree or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar Technical Architect role; 5+ years leading technical teams.
• 1+ year experience in financial institutions or banking concepts preferred.
• Experience with COBOL, CICS, Java/.NET, SQL; API and web services integration.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and English communication skills.
