Overview

The IT Audit Officer (IAO) is responsible for conducting independent reviews and assessments of the bank's information systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and IT-related controls. This role ensures that IT operations are compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The IT Audit Officer identifies risks, evaluates control effectiveness, and provides actionable recommendations to strengthen the bank's IT governance and security posture. The role actively contributes to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, and supports the overall risk management framework of the bank.

Position Profile

Education: A graduate of 4-year Bachelor\'s Degree in Course in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT Audit, cybersecurity, or information systems assurance; banking industry experience preferred.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of IT audit principles, cybersecurity practices, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

  • Understanding of network infrastructure, IT systems, applications, and infrastructure within the banking industry.

  • Proficiency in audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA) and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
